Nook Reader is the official electronic reading device of Barnes & Noble and is based on the Android platform. The Nook Reading Device was released on November 30, 2009 for $259 USD. This special reading device includes Wi-Fi and AT&T 3G wireless connectivity, a six-inch E Ink display, and a separate, smaller color touch screen that serves as the primary input device.
The epub with eReader DRM combination is a new format created for the Nook. Readers using the Nook Reader in the Barnes & Noble stores receive access to special content and offers, while the Nook device remains connected to the store's Wi-Fi.
With the changing trends in reading techniques, many readers now prefer to read ebooks on a small and compact ebook reading device. After Kindle, Sony, and iPad, Nook is also one of the most famous reading devices for ebook, especially the epub format ebooks.

ePubConversion was recommended to me some three weeks ago by another
novelist as being a good candidate for taking my newly published novel
into the Kindle environment. A quick review of their web site led me to
Bob's e-mail address (Bob@epubconversion.com). From there, it was simply
a matter of defining my needs. The response was almost instantaneous.
Before quoting a price, Bob asked to see my book (I provided a PDF
version), and for no charge, he provided a comprehensive and easily
understandable review of the conversion constraints (e.g., footnotes
would have to be moved to endnotes) as well as a price. He also took the
time to explain that it might be a good idea for me to consider having
him perform the Nook (Barnes & Noble) and Sony conversions, as well, at
the same time that the Kindle version was produced; the reason for this
was that to do the former two at a later date would cost more. Once we
agreed on a price for all three conversions, Bob worked with me on the
telephone while I placed my order on his web site.
The basic conversion of the manuscript from which the three e-books would
be developed, as promised, took 12 days. Following a few rounds to
correct some conversion and other errors (including two spelling errors
that my editors had missed and that Bob corrected at no charge!), we
finalized the basic conversion file. From that, Bob produced the Kindle
file. Once I gave him my Amazon.com access information, he even uploaded
the file to the Kindle site. A subsequent e-mail provided the information
I needed to access my Kindle account and complete the submission (e.g.,
submission of my checking account information for the payment of
royalties).
Bob now is finalizing the Nook and Sony versions for subsequent uploading
to the appropriate sites.
In all, ePubConversion's services and products are of the highest
quality. And Bob always has been accessible both by telephone and e-mail
to answer questions. He and his organization typify, in every sense of
the word, what it means to be a professional in today's consumer-based
information technology (IT) world. I would not hesitate to recommend
their services.
